    Hi all

I have read several of the SFA funding rules for 2016-17, the performance management rules and the common funding rules documents.

I can’t seem to find in this years guidelines about RPL of delivery? So if we have experienced Adult learners (19+) who enrol onto a qualification and we deliver learning in the classroom, previously you could RPL 49% of the GLH without reducing the funding. It was a specific paragraph in Funding Rules 2015-16.

Do we know if we can still deliver GLH after RPL-ing a proportion and not reduce the funding (as long as the delivery is <51%)?

    Thanks

    Hi

looks like a bit of a change in the reference to it in the common rules:

    https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/skills-funding-agency-common-funding-rules

    A35 …You must
A35.1. reduce the amount of funding claimed for the learning aim by the percentage of learning and assessment that the learner does not need

so no 51% threshold, just reduce it if you’re not teaching it all.
