One of our curriculum managers is hoping to run the above course but we can’t find an appropriate aim to use. The Cisco one is not fundable. We want to run the course for the unemployed and are struggling to find a way to fund it?

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Hi Julie,
Cisco provides vendor specific training courses, units for this are recorded as:
L/601/7459 Cisco IT Essentials Part 1 Level 2
F/601/7457 Cisco IT Essentials Part 2 Level 3
You would have to register or work with a Cisco accredited partner to obtain certification for these courses.
The ESFA do not fund any vendor specific courses as they expect employers to fund these directly, I therefore think this would be an unsuitible course to offer to the unemployed unless you wished to offer some pre training for which you could use a class code.
