My question is this, we are delighted that we have a number of learners that have finished framework programs after the 366 days but roughly a month ahead of their planned finish date, is there a funding consequence for this?
There are no implications for a learner completing their framework ahead of their planned end date (providing they have met the 366 day rule). Once the achievement information has been recorded on your MI system, you will receive the remaining ‘OPPs’ along with the achievement payment.
The only issue is that the minimum duration of 366 days in the funding rules does not apply where the framework stipulates a longer minimum duration but as most frameworks only include a recommended as against a minimum duration this often does not apply.
An early achiever is what we all wish for.
