I think i’m right in saying that if a learner fails EPA they cannot be recorded as an achiever on the ILR – aren’t I? Checked the guidance and it says that all activity, including EPA, must have been completed in order to record a learner as successful but it doesn’t say the EPA has to be successful.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi Darren,
There are some questions that defy reason, but I will do my best:
For programme aims, the outcome of the entire programme must be recorded in this field, for Apprenticeship standards this includes EPA and requires completion certification for the apprenticeship before it can be recorded as Achieved.

    Thanks Martin,

This was one of those where you know the answer but have been asked to seek confirmation because the rules don’t specifically say something.
