I’ve been looking for the rules/guidance around the ESOL top ups but can’t seem to find it for 2017/18. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks

    Para 46-48 here:

    https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/adult-education-budget-funding-rates-and-formula-2017-to-2018

No change from previously. Hours delivered over the top of the band that the aim sits in are put in the Additional Hours field and generate funding based on where that value sits in the single activity matrix.

    eg:

Trinity Reading L1 generates £300. On the single activity matrix that puts it in the 45-68 hour bracket. So, if you deliver it in more than 68 hours you can put a value in additional hours. If you were doing it in 90 hours, that’s 90-68=22 and 22 hours sits in the 21-44 hour band so it’s an extra £150.

Ctrl+F is your friend for when the words become a blur (and also why I never print anything out anymore!)
