    Hi

I am enquiring as to what assessment tool providers use for initial assessments on english and maths.

We currently use BKSB is there any other we could use?

    Thanks

    Hi Elaine,

We use ForSkills which we find very good.

    Hi Elaine,
We are also using BKSB and our Head of Quality wants to look at what else is out there. We’ve been using BKSB for a while and want to be sure there’s nothing out there that is more effective/efficient at a reasonable price.

We are aware of ForSkills already. Really interested to hear of anything else.

    Hi Elaine,

We use ForSkills – we’ve used BKSB and Guroo in the past but find ForSkills to be a quick and easy to use assessment tool.

Another ForSkills user here. I think it’s a great system. Guroo is actually part of ForSkills for those that didn’t know, and ForSkills is part of NCFE. If you have NCFE as one of your awarding organisations, you are eligible for “free” credits. You can find out more here: https://www.forskills.co.uk/

Also look at Dynamic Learning, which is the Hodder/City & Guilds system.
Depends on the AO you use.
