Can anyone please advise? We have a learner who has been with us 8 weeks and has today resigned from their company/apprenticeship. Something in the back of my mind tells me that there is a period of 6 weeks (?) where as we can close a learner off without us paying the penalties of having them classed as a non-achiever. If this is so for ESFA audit purposes what dated evidence could I use to prove learner is in learning ?
