If the Learning Support Funding has not been ticked up by mistake, then added after the start date, is the Learning Support funding then backdated.

Yes payment will cover the period from the from and to dates as long as the from date is in the current funding year.

    Thank you Martin, very helpful.

I also think that we have a learner who requires the learning support but it’s only just been picked up that she already has the qualification, she doesn’t show up as picking up the support funding, so would this be why?

    Hi,
Sorry do not understand the question as if she already has the qualification why the need for support funding (ALS).

Sorry this does sound a bit confusing. She took the qualification, but only passed part of it, so is continuing, but as the support funding was with her last year, is she still eligible for it again.

    Hi,
The Learning Support Funding (LSF) FAM type should be recorded against the continuing aim with appropriate Date applies from / Date applies to cover the period the support is required.
