Quick question, is Lottery Funding classed as ‘Government Funding’ in respect of people not being on two government funded programmes at the same time?

    Many thanks in advance

I would think it’s not classified as Government funding (even though I like to call it the ‘hope tax’!)

Might be worth checking with servicedesk for a definitive answer.

It could be as Big Lottery Fund (BIG) is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport. See GOV.UK
Still worth a check with ESFA

Thanks. I have asked the help desk the question and will post their response

Just an update in case any one else needs to know:

    Reply form help desk –
“I have looked into the query regarding the Lottery funded learners, I would advise that this would not effect any government funded learning.”
