    Hi there,

I’m just looking for some clarity on how to identify learners that have contributed to a fall in Academic Minimum Standards Value Added Score?

I have read the guidance but it doesn’t seem to confirm exact details in order to help us identify the learners e.g does it only include those learners that were expected to complete in 16/17 on CORE Qual. For example, we may have a learner studying an Acacademic level qual such as Extended Project as it is one year programme but they are not due to complete their CORE qualification until following year. Would they be included?

Any direction to help identify the actual cohort used (or if there is a file that is available to download with this info in would be a great help)!

    Many thanks
    Tracey

    Hi Tracey,
Based on the Hybrid year which is the later of the Planned end year, actual end or reporting year for each aim, or programme if it is an Apprenticeship.

    Thanks Martin.

So, if 16-18 EFA then it is based on the end year (Planned, Actual, Reporting year) and this end year is relevant to each individual learning aim not the overall Programme of Learning.

    Many thanks,

    Hi Tracey,
We may be at cross purposes as even though 16-18 are reported in the QAR the minimum standards you refer to are measured and defined based on the core aim see:

All E and T are also reported in the QAR rates by aim, it is only Apprenticeships that are reported by Programme.
