If a learner has achieved a level 2 previously, say 20 years ago and the initial assesssment now shows that there level is below this, can they re-sit at this level and be fully funded?

    I hope this makes sense

    Hi Tony,
As the rules are different for different Funding streams and programmes you need to include more information but in general they would not be fully funded.

A learner has level 2 in English but the IA shows level 1

Still insufficient information with regards to funding stream and programme but eligibility for funding is normally based on prior attainment and as they have a level 2 they would not be funded.
Resits without further training are also not funded.
