Funding for adults

The Skills Funding Agency is a partner organisation of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS). We fund and promote adult Further Education and Skills (FE) training in England, through a variety of learning and training programmes delivered by colleges, private training organisations and employers.

We also use the European Social Fund to provide additional investment to support and enhance our mainstream activity, to enable disadvantaged people to access and benefit from employment and skills opportunities.
